Meet the Team
Florian Navarroza-Flores obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños in 1994. She also completed her Masters degree in Business Management from the same university as a scholar of the Civil Service Commission. She served as Assistant Professor at the Philippine Public Safety College, Department of the Interior and Local Government, teaching Communication Arts subjects to adult learners. A holder of a teaching certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages), she offers English tutorial services to ESL students. She co-authored three books titled Master English Grammar without Cracking your Brain, Master Report Writing without Sweat and 1000 plus Review Questions for the Police Entrance Examination & Police Promotional Examination.
She and her husband run seminar-workshops on English proficiency and effective writing in various agencies and universities. Among the agencies where they served as resource persons include the Civil Service Commission, Professional Regulation Commission, and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-MIMAROPA).

Roger Victor Q. Flores is a technical writer and freelance Management Consultant with expertise on project development, business development and human resource development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños and a Certificate in Human Resource Development from the Development Academy of the Philippines. He was also a recipient of the UP Alumni Association Leadership Award when he graduated in 1987 as scholar of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Bureau of Forest Development.
Roger also served as a Senior Personnel Specialist at the Civil Service Commission as a recruit of the Brightest for the Bureaucracy Program (BBP) prior to his decision to engage in consultancy works in the private sector. At CSC, he served as a technical writer, resource speaker, speech writer, workshop facilitator and HR Specialist. He was also commissioned as editor to the United Nations Development Program’s (UNDP) writing project on Replicable Practices in Local Government Units under the Bureau of Local Government Development, Department of the Interior & Local Government.

Amador Balaguer Navarroza, a retired police officer with the rank of Superintendent, currently serves as Vice President for Academics at the Philippine Public Safety College - a government institution mandated by law to train the police, fire, and jail officers in the country. He is a master's degree holder in Educational Management and an alumnus of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) belonging to class 1985. He is also a graduate of Bachelor of Arts Major in English from the Ateneo de Naga University. He is a veteran training instructor in report writing and police operational communication. He is also a former regional training school director of three regional training centers for the police- Regional Training Center (RTC 5) in Camp Simeon Ola in Legaspi City; National Capital Region Training Center (NCRTC) in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City; and RTC 4 in Camp Nakar, Lucena City.
As PPSC Vice President for Academics, he has advocated for the enhancement of test construction skills of PPSC guest lecturers and instructors, believing that "assessment tools should never be relegated to a place of unimportance in the teaching process, as tests, when properly constructed, will measure the effectiveness of the teacher through an evaluation of the learner's progress or lack of it." In line with this advocacy, he has conducted seminar-workshops on test construction and development for PPSC guest lecturers and instructors nationwide giving emphasis on the formulation of test items that measure the student's higher-order/critical thinking skills.

Sixteener Rovik Lemuel N. Flores has been homeschooled since he was eight. He loves writing, book illustrating, reading, swimming, playing football and basketball, and playing the keyboard and violin.
When he was a grade schooler, he was twice published in the Junior Inquirer of the Philippine Daily Inquirer for his contributions. He maintains his own quarterly homeschool magazine--The Homeschool Bugle—where he chronicles his life experiences, travels and life lessons as a homeschooler.
Rovik loves to tinker with his computer--play games and learn new software. He is a doting Kuya to his younger brother Orvik. Rovik believes that the greatest pursuit of man in life is to know God and to know his calling.

Orvik Samuel N. Flores is an eleven year-old homeschooler who has a passion for reading and writing. He developed an interest in writing when was five when he would see his older brother engrossed in crafting stories and essays. He also maintains his own homeschool magazine - The Homeschool News (inspired by his older brother's ) where he gets to showcase his writing skill .
He has written a number of poems, essays and narratives about his memorable experiences as a homeschooler particularly those shared with his family and friends during special occasions, outings, travels and Sunday school activities. His wild and quirky imagination led him to write long stories, some of which, according to him, still remain unfinished.
